Diana has been a speaker on topics such as Anticipatory Grief, Caregiver Stress, Compassion Fatigue, Pet Loss, Grief Education, Children in Grief, and Coping with the Holidays.  In her work with the grieving population, Diana has experienced, and seen, the common issues we all seem to struggle with in grief. She feels that we live in a death and grief phobic society and her mission is to offer grief education to everyone.

Lisa M. Tate has enjoyed a career of more than 25 years in public affairs, health care advocacy, and non-profit management. In 2007, she joined WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease as chief executive officer. As the leading voice for the 41 million American women living with or at risk of heart disease, WomenHeart is the only national, patient-centered organization dedicated to promoting women’s heart health through advocacy, community education and patient support. Prior to joining WomenHeart, Lisa served as Vice President of Public Affairs with the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI).
