What’s your point…and can you get to it?

One of the reasons that the e-patient connections conference is different, way different than what you’re used to, is that the speakers know how to get to the point. Presentations will be Short, Focused, Relevant, Interesting, and Inspiring.
If you’ve got something to say that fits that description, we want to hear about it.

In our version of Pecha Kucha, you too can have the chance to make your point – in 6 minutes and 40 seconds flat. That’s 20 seconds of talking for each of 20 slides.
Can you be short…focused…relevant…interesting and inspiring? We bet you can. Send an email to christine.macadams@kruresearch.com and tell us what you want to talk about. We’ll pick 3 winners to present at the conference, and we’ll foot the bill for your conference pass too.
1 to 1 FaceTime – we got that.

If you feel like you’re falling behind on all the trends in social media, or if you’ve got that down but cant’ figure out how to apply it to your work, we’re here to help.
At e-Patient Connections 2009, we’ll have all kinds of gurus available to get you up to speed and give you ideas. You can get an individual lesson on how to navigate SecondLife, help setting up your company’s twitter account or youtube channel, or some advice on how to improve your website’s google rank. Whatever you need, someone will be available and willing to help you do it.
We’re also lining up VC’s, lawyers, and press who can advise on how to start, grow, and promote whatever brilliant ideas you have brewing. Free, expert advice in a 1 to 1 setting – you can’t beat that!
Visionaries, Innovators, and Thought Leaders, oh my!

We’re starting to lock in our speakers for the October conference and its going great so far. We’re talking to researchers, practitioners, gurus in all areas of marketing, education, social media, even entertainment, and we’re committed to lining up ONLY those people who we know will provide valuable insight into reaching, engaging, and educating digital health consumers. We are already well on our way to building a fantastic program of visionaries, innovators and thought leaders to share their ideas with us.
As just one example, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be hearing from Jay Bernhardt, PhD, MPH who is the director for the national center for health marketing at the CDC. Personally we can’t wait to hear details about their social media campaign for the swine flu pandemic. We know they’re on the leading edge of communicating strategically through social media – CDCemergency does have over 315,000 followers on twitter you know.
e-Patient Connections 2009 Booked at Philadelphia Bellevue

We are so excited to have locked in this location for our first annual e-Patient Connections conference. The Park Hyatt Philadelphia at the Bellevue is one of the most impressive hotels in Philadelphia. Situated on the famous Avenue of the Arts, Park Hyatt Philadelphia at the Bellevue blends old-world architecture with modern amenities. World class shopping, dining, and nightlife are just steps from the door, and XIX (Nineteen), the hotel’s Café, Bar and Restaurant is located on the nineteeth floor, for a fantastic city view.
Our grand ballroom, with its balcony and large entrance areas will provide excellent spaces for all of our planned (and surprise) sessions, workshops, and activities – as well as a great vendor display area.
Can’t wait to see you there!
